By public transport in order to reach the Amalfi Coast, from Naples “Capodichino” you need to take a bus, and then the local little train and then another bus. The entire journey takes approximately four hours, having to change buses and trains all while carrying around your luggage. The situation is even worse if you are arriving from Rome: in fact, to reach Positano and Amalfi from Rome ,you have to change at least 4 buses!
